LEA CHAPEL, Oddsocks home venue is now available for hire.
Andy, Elli and Charlie of Oddsocks are delighted to announce the opening of their new venue Lea Chapel in Upper Lea, Nr Holloway, Derbyshire.
In the depths of national lockdown, Derbyshire based touring theatre company Oddsocks Productions invested in a run-down, disused chapel in the beautiful village of Lea in Derbyshire with a view to restoring it to it’s historic best, and using it as a rehearsal space for its own theatre productions and opening it up for community and professional hire.
Since 2020 Lea Chapel has been used to produce six nationally touring theatre productions, two music videos and some private parties and in November 2024 the venue opened for the first time to paying audiences when Oddsocks premiered their last tour “Frankenstein” at their very own venue.
