  • Last week of Romeo and Juliet

So, the last week of “Romeo and Juliet” is upon us! It has been an absolutely fantastic run so far. We have had some incredible feedback from venues, audience members and newspaper reviewers.

The last week of the tour takes us to Telford, Kendal, our home performance in Derby and then we finish off in Hereford. You can book tickets by visiting our box office!

While the cast are out on the road for the final week, Andy, Frances and I are in the office working on marketing for the summer production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and next winter’s production of “Hamlet: The Comedy”.

Also, we are looking at the potential of taking “R&J” to London. I’m sure that most of you who have seen this tour will agree it’s a pretty spectacular show…car chases, huge musical numbers, innovative technology, fat blokes climbing up balconys and all the rest of it…and as such we feel confident to be able to approach London venues and try to get some dates down there. Any thoughts, feedback or words of support/encouragement would be greatly welcomed at this time!

Till next post, Peace Out, Kee

Went to see Romeo and Juliet last night here in Jersey. My wife and I have been going to all the shows that Oddsocks bring here for many years now, but in my opinion last nights was probably the best one yet!. Congratulations on another wonderful show and I look forward to seeing you again in the Summer.
      Best wishes
      Martin

By the time it gets to the death scene I am usually feeling quite emotional, but last night I laughed all the way through from beginning to tragic end. What a wonderful evening. I can’t wait for the next performance.

I went to see Romeo and Juliet last friday in Derby and had a crackin night, thoroughly enjoyed the show, it had me in stitches, you guys are genius. I will certainly be going to see your next production in summer. You should definatly take it to London, but be sure to come back to Derby.

    5. Ed Day says:

Yeah! Come to London. Then i’ll be able to see it…of course I’m sure that argument alone wont be enough to make it a sure thing but i hope it tips the balance just a little bit.

    6. We had a great evening’s entertainment, thanks to Oddsocks, at the Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School and their final production. We have seen many of their plays and thouroughly recommend them, for a great night out. We wish you continued success and look forward to welcoming you back to Bishop’s in the summer. Good luck with your London venues.
