It’s the end of the summer and we are quickly approaching rehearsals for our winter tour of “Romeo and Juliet”. This means set designs being bandied about the office, ideas being bounced around the office and cups of coffee being thrown around the office!
The production is really beginning to take shape with an original concept already being formed and casting taking place in the next month or so. The successful return of Andy to the stage in “Richard III” means we will be casting some old and familiar faces in this one too…who knows, we may even see Elli back out on the road! How exciting!
Last week, after a very successful summer tour, the “Richard III” cast returned back to base exhilarated, satisfied, tired and a little hungover! The show was fantastically well received all around the country and the positive audience feedback and emails have kept us happily rolling along. Andy, the company director, who has had a six year break from treading the boards returned to perform the lead of Richard and he was welcomed back with open arms.
So, at the end of yet another tour, with the touring pageant wagon tucked away neatly into a corner we swiftly moved into the main production phase of our next tour: “Romeo and Juliet”.
