Safeguarding Adults

Concerned about the rising number of reports of adult abuse, Warwickshire County Council organised the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Conference, an event designed to help raise awareness in the county of Warwickshire.

We were asked to produce two hard hitting live theatre scenes tackling the subject of vulnerable adults and were also commissioned to write and produce a short film which would open the conference.

The film was played to over 200 people from organisations such as Action on Elder Abuse, Warwickshire Police, the Supreme Court and the Independent Safeguarding Authority. The resulting debate from the theatre scenes and film contributed to a hugely successful day where Oddsocks provoked thought and reaction to help raise awareness and unite several bodies in one single cause.
